NOTES FROM SAHA’S 29TH ANNUAL MEETINGThe Board of Directors held its 29th Annual Association Meeting on November 3, 2022. Pizza donated by Giuseppe’s and cookies freshly baked by the wonderful chef at Oakmont Retirement Community were enjoyed by the attendees of the meeting. The SAHA President, Bob Cable, called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone. Guest speakers for the evening were Undersheriff Horace Boatwright, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department; Jeffrey Birchfield, Assistant Chief, Division 1, San Bernardino County Fire Department; Brian Lee, General Manager of San Antonio Water Company; and Bill Velto, Mayor of the City of Upland. We were also honored to have former City of Upland Mayor Ray Musser give the invocation. Speakers updated the crowd on crime, traffic, fire statistics, water shares, and departmental upcoming events, etc. These items will be included in the Association Minutes and distributed in the Gazette Newsletter in March.
In recognition of San Antonio Height’s 135th Anniversary, paper pads were given to each guest attending the meeting with the promise of coordinating pens to follow. The pens have arrived and they will be delivered to all attendees soon after Thanksgiving.
Thanks to the Board members and volunteers in putting this meeting together and thanks to everyone who attended.
